Delivery

Delivery to Ireland typically takes 2–3 working days for items we hold in stock. Items we need to source, and orders elsewhere in the EU, typically take 5–9 working days. We keep small stock quantities while we grow.

Product care

Keep your beanie feeling cosy with a little gentle care. Always check the care label first, as instructions can vary between styles.

Wash gently in cool water with a mild detergent, and avoid bleach or fabric softener. Don’t wring or twist it; gently press out excess water, reshape and leave flat to dry away from direct heat. Avoid tumble drying to help preserve its fit and shape.

Why Proper Beanie?

Proper Beanie started with a simple habit: I wear beanies pretty much every day. For walks, heading to work, or just getting out and about, they’re the thing I reach for without thinking. I wanted to build a small Irish brand around that everyday usefulness, with beanies that feel comfortable, keep you warm, and are easy to make part of your routine.

I tried more than 20 beanies while choosing our Everyday style, looking for the right balance of feel, fit and warmth. That same practical approach shapes the range: a few carefully chosen options for everyday wear and colder days, rather than endless styles to scroll through. Proper Beanie is starting small, but the idea is straightforward: everyday beanies, done properly.
